Finnish football and futsal needed a new home. The new online service was hoped to improve the customer experience, make it easier and faster to find information, meet commercial goals and inspire new users to join the sport. Football Association of Finland’s website renewal was carried out in close cooperation with the client, following the principles of design thinking. High-quality research and background work, definition of user needs, iterative working model and modern technology choices ensured that the extensive renovation project was successfully completed.

Carefully made according to needs

The basis of all work is high-quality research. Using interviews and surveys, Nitro formed user personas and defined their specific needs. The site’s UX and UI design was then based on the needs: clearer navigation, content divided by user groups and different technical and visual choices to support easy content discovery. 

Technical superiority

The technical implementation of the site was done using headless & serverless architecture. The modular and scalable architecture offers excellent technical flexibility and enables customisation to suit the purpose of usage. In this way, the site serves all stakeholders better, from the development work to the end users.
