In 2023, the world situation destabilized the energy sector and electricity prices. Difficult times made energy companies scapegoats, including Lumme Energia. It was time to take action and steer the brand image towards a positive direction. We turned our attention towards a relevant issue for Lumme Energia – the sun and renewable energy. We made it the main point of our brand communication and showed it in a lovable and energizing way.

In order to change the tense atmosphere in which energy companies relied on safe communication, we designed a concept and a multi-channeled campaign around responsible and domestic solar power. The goal was to increase brand recognition and brand preference.
The main element of the campaign was a fun love song dedicated to the sun and people. The purposefully exaggerating music video and song worked as a powerful piece on television, radio and in the digital environment, activating viewers and listeners to get to know solar power on Lumme Energia's channels. The message "You do the sun” radiated positivity to the difficult year of 2023.
